To date, the total value of UNICEF supply items for Haiti has reached $2.5 million.
Update on air shipments:
Today, Air France/KLM will leave Amsterdam at 22:00 UTC with 100 MT of health, nutrition, and water and sanitation supplies. The plane will arrive in Santo Domingo on 28 January. The airline is not applying a commercial mark up for this service.
On Friday, 29 January, British Airways will carry 100MT of hygiene kits from Madrid at 16:40 UTC to Santo Domingo. The flight has been provided to UNICEF with no commercial mark up.
